Counseling & Psychiatry
GENERAL TIPS:

Newton County does not have many psychiatrists practicing, so there can be a wait time to get service. There are some online options for psychiatry that accept both insured and self-pay patients.
Check your insurer's website (web address will be on your insurance card) for a directory of in-network providers near you.
Many employers also have programs called EAP (Employee Assistance Programs) that will provide phone therapy or a limited number of in-person therapy visits even if you do not have health insurance. Ask your human resources department if EAP is offered.
